A FLVS "Chat with the Experts"
For this week's module, you will join in on a chat with one of the experts from the Florida Virtual Schools to gain a better understanding of what it means to teach "virtually."
You should read the module and download the form for this assignment BEFORE attending the session.
If you are new or if this is your first time using Elluminate, please be sure to log in to one of the available sessions at least 20 minutes prior to the start of the session to download the needed Java component used in the session. Additionally, please be sure to sign in using your full name in order to receive full credit for this portion of this week's module.
It is necessary to have a computer with a speaker to hear the audio portion of this chat, so please do make arrangements before hand to ensure there are no issues with sound the day of the session. Additionally, it is nice to have a microphone just in case you would like to ask questions, but this is not necessary as you can simply use the "chat" feature found within Elluminate.
Please be sure to ask at least ONE question from the expert you are visiting with, as their experiences will be invaluable to your future career choices.
Following are the available chat sessions. You will need to participate in ONE session to meet the requirements of this assignment. You may choose which date to attend the LIVE session.
Monday, March 15th @ 7:30PM
Tuesday, March 16th @7:30PM
Wednesday, March 17th @ 7:30PM
Thursday, March 18th @ 7:30PM
